If you look at the England team that lined up against Brazil in 2002 and included the likes of Mills and Heskey the squad this year is infinitely stronger. Rooney probably will play at some stage but how fit he will be is anyone's guess. Although people tend to laugh when you mention Peter Crouch at least he is actually scoring some goals and not spending 90% of his time on his arse like Heskey used to.

I think we have a good shout this year and I'll be watching every match I can, luckily my gf loves football too.
