It will be interesting to see how they manage to get a man through the Van Allen Belt radiation alive.

The lethal radiation of the Van Allen Belt begins about 300 miles above the Earth's surface and the Russians, for example, have never attempted a manned flight beyond that.

That's a myth perpetrated by the people who believe that the 1969 moon landings never took place. There is enough radiation in the van Allen belts to be lethal if the human being in question was there long enough and was unprotected. In fact the Apollo spacecraft travelled quickly through the belts, taking about an hour to get through so there wasn't time to receive a lethal dose of radiation and the the spacecraft blocked most of the radiation in any case.
