Very nice of Micro$oft: "This version of the Player does not permit you to back up your media usage rights. " !annoyed!
That's pretty piss-poor even from their standards.

Re: Windows Media Player 11
Perfectly fine, no issues at all - just no back-up of media usage rights. So now Rolled Back to WMP10

I guess there will be a fix in the future, then a fix of the fix, then a fix of that, then another fix, etc etc.......... lol!

Re: Windows Media Player 11
Digital Rights Management (DRM) Licence - basically with WMP10 you could back them up to a folder on say a pen-drive and then if everything went tits-up you could restore them. With WMP11 there is no option to back up, so if it goes tits-up all you can do is pay for the licence again or lose the ability to play the licenced files.
Of course Micro$oft have hidden away the option to uninstall WMP11 and also hidden how to do a rollback......which is nice.
So if you have Licenced video/audio, don't upgrade to WMP11.
