62 year old gives birth

Post by todge »

When does personal choice just become unacceptably selfish ?
Should a child have to shoulder that kind of stigma ?
Could you cope with the fact your mum's a 70 year old waiting outside the primary school gates ?
Is a loving parent the only thing that matters ?

Plus the kid has to deal with the fact that it's mother could drop dead at anytime throughout it's schooling age.

It's just plain stupidity, as far as I'm concerned.

Gotta agree with you guys.

I have a 5 year old - she runs me ragged at times, and sometimes has the attitude of a 15 year old.

God help this silly woman, she should of known better she already has three grown up children

"UK's oldest mum speaks of joy

A pensioner has spoken of her joy at giving birth at the age of 62 to an "adorable" baby boy.

Patti Farrant became Britain's oldest mother when her son, known as JJ, was born by caesarean section at Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, on Wednesday.

The healthy baby, weighing 6lb 10.5oz, was conceived after treatment from controversial Italian fertility expert Severino Antinori.

Patti, a child psychiatrist known professionally as Dr Patricia Rashbrook, already had three grown-up children, but husband John Farrant, 60, a higher education management consultant, was a first-time father.

Speaking to reporters, Patti described her baby, conceived through IVF using a donor egg, as "absolutely gorgeous".

She added: "He is adorable, and seeing him for the first time was beyond words. Having been through so much to have him, we are overjoyed. His birth was absolutely wonderful and deeply moving for both of us."

The delighted couple, from Lewes, East Sussex, were pictured in the newspaper holding their new son, with his shock of downy black hair, in their arms, and spoke of how much they were looking forward to taking him home."
