Not seen it, dunno what it is but if its Steve Coogan being slated im gonna have to step in and defend. Ive got his live DVD with two shows (man who thinks he is is and some other one)....and they are SUPERB. very very funny....alan partridge was obviously amazing but the other characters all grew on me. shame you don't like....its brilliant

The Jeremy Clarkson piss take episode wasn't bad. But the character's a bit too one-dimensional. Partridge in the motel series was infinitely funnier.

Gareth Cheeseman, Alan Partridge, Paul(ine) Calf all had their moments. Saxondale's just deeply unfunny. The writing's slow and Coogan's on auto-pilot. Pure Bernard Matthews.

i know what your saying about saxondale being slow, after watching mondays episode i think it's more me wanting to find it funny because it's by steve coogan than it atualy being funny
