Wheyhey! Yes, that'll have been the old MIB's (Men in Black), Mike. No doubt they were taking advantage of the good weather to test fly their latest UFO bustin' hardware.
Mike, what your position on MIB's? Do you reckon they are good guys or villains? Is it a New Labour plot? Is John Reid an MIB? And what about Gordon Brown? He looks like an MIB, don'tcha think? Do you reckon he's fleecing us of our tax money to spend on MIB (dark) projects, and then telling us that he's given it away to the Africans? Makes you think, doesn?t it?

Are you sure they were piloted? Could they have been drones?
The US and Israelis have been using some very sophisticated unpiloted drones for doing image recon. They're matt black, no markings, and have long nose cones which carry some of the techno gubins. Sounds unlikely, but just a thought.

We've certainly surrendered our airspace to the Americans. I think the Israelis are busy enough already though.

Hi Dibble,
I will read your links with interest and get back to you. I have an open mind about UFOs. The planes I saw were unlike anything I have ever seen before. It is said that the media always print cover stories like "2 helicopters over south London."
Mike.

Chatterji,
They could have been drones as you describe. Is there a picture somewhere ?

I don't wish to point out the obvious - but I think you'll find the Farnborough International Airshow's on From past experience there's usually all sorts of strange things going on there!
I can resist everything except temptation!
