Yes I can relate to that one warren. It's almost the same as people who put apostrophes when they are indicating a plural word.

Oh bugger! I just noticed I wrote "get's", and I know full well there shouldn't be a ' in there.

I'm sometimes guilty of this, if I think a word just doesn't look right without an apostrophe. !blush!

However, if this is in your 'top ten' most irritating things, then your life must be a breeze!

It's not that my life is a breeze, it's just that I find it so annoying that people don't know how to write their own language properly. It's such a common mistake that even occurs, on a regular basis, in shops and in magazines. If people whose first language is not English can understand the difference between belonging and plurals, why do some of us find it so difficult?

I was never very good at English Lit... in school.

I'm Dyslexic, everything looks weird or wrong to me, even when the Dictionary shows the correct spellings LOL!
