As Mike sagely pointed out, the unfortunates in those photos could have been either Palestinians or Jews. Shit, they might even have been Iraqi?s for all we know. Neither do we know the context in which they were taken. It could be very different to that which this noxious website is suggesting. So let?s have a closer look at the ?Hal Turner? website to see if we can put these emotive images into some kind of context.

It turns out that Hal Turner is a New York shock-Jock who, like all shock-jocks, makes his living by being as outrageously and gratuitously offensive as possible. And, thanks to the 1st Amendment, Hal Turner is very offensive indeed. He?s the first to admit (on his home page) that his show and his views may not be even-handed or rational, as he warns ? ?Don't expect "fairness" or "balance;" that's not what this show is about.? Then if you scroll down the page a little you can judge for yourself just how ?fair? or ?balanced? Hal can be. But to save you time I?ve selected a few snippets from Hal?s recent pronouncements to give you an idea of what he?s about ?

Hal?s rantings, range from the hatful and vitriolic to the, frankly, bizarre. Like ?

Jerry, introducing this crap to back up your hysterical assertion that Israelis are deliberately killing civilians was stupid, bizarre, and crass in the extreme. If you had taken a little more time to checkout Hal and his motives you might have learnt that it?s not only Jews (like you) who Hal Turner isn?t keen on, but African Americans, too. Here?s another couple of snippets. This is Hal on the New Orleans disaster -

Anyhow, I digress. Getting back to Hal - one would probably have cause to question his sincerity after reading this quote on his website?s Disclaimer page. So, there you have it ? he?s probably laughing up his sleeve and making it all up as he goes (profitably) along. What a chap. You?ve got to admire his audacity.

So, to round up. The images in question are probably not quite what they seem and may have been taken wildly out of context. Also, Jerry is a very Silly Billy for misrepresenting the images and foisting them on us to back up his, er, interesting view of the world.

The Israelis have been using that excuse for too long. After the massacre this week, a British TV crew went and interviewed locals, who all denied that Hizbullah had been launching from the village, but from the hills and valleys around the area.

The Israelis have perhaps the world's most effective army. They don't make THAT many mistakes - this attack is a collective punishment.

Hezbollah exist to defend Lebanon against attack from Israel. Given Israel's previous history of aggression against Lebanon and its population, they have every right to exist. They also have every right to fire missiles into Israel in retaliation against Israeli slaughter in Lebanon.

I don't like what Hezbollah stands for, but then I don't like what Israel stands for either - and I was taught to love Israel unreservedly when I grew up, so I feel a personal betrayal now.

So maybe whatever other nasty forms of shite he might be, he is at least sincere. On reflection I can't decide whether that makes him even worse.

Some news reports indicate that the Israeli commandoes supposedly captured by Hezbollah in a cross border incursion were actually captured during an Israeli raid onto Lebanese soil.
It's all orchestrated from Washington, they have an agenda to lock up the worlds oil supply and defend their economy. Nearly all the oil in the world is payed for in dollars, for which America prints 'fait' dollars and 'sells' them for services/goods to those countries that are net importers of oil which allows that country to buy oil. Technically this means that America owns all the oil as they control the currency that oil is traded in. America also has a huge trade deficit and this false trade in the dollar is all that prevents it from sliding into total economic meltdown.
After the first Gulf War Saddam Hussein (placed in control of Iraq by the Americans and sold chemical weapons by them to use against the the Iranians in the Iran/Iraq war), decided to accept Euros in exchange for oil, and also converted approximately 10 billion dollars in funds held in the food for oil program into Euros, one of the first OPEC countries to do so. America, worried that the rest would follow suit invaded Iraq, they are also sabre rattling at Chavez (Venezualan Prime Minister) as he has already agreed to an oil for medical service trade with Cuba, and has indicated he is interested in accepting the Euro for oil. Iran, another favourite target of the Americans has also indicated it would be interested in accepting the Euro for oil, and the Americans are rattling their sabres at them...using nuclear technology as a scapegoat...(so why aren't they threatening North Korea?).
Orchestrating a Middle East conflict that involves Syria and Iran is precisely what they want, it gives them an excuse to do what they really want, and that is control the oil....Bush himself admitted that "America is addicted to oil", go figure.

Why should you feel betrayal? If you're jewish or christian or hebrew (like me!) I think we all have some kinda ties to Israel. To me it's like being here in america. You like it and you know it has faults and we have our ideas on how we can make it better and we don't mind at least talking about it. Me and my father talk about Israel sometimes though we don't agree with each other. He usually comes from a religion standpoint and I come from the political.
