I don't think it's poss but when making up a cd in nero or wmp can you get rid of the 4 second pauses in between tracks. Pain in the arse when trying to do a live compilation.

Yes - in nero (use nero express) there is a tick box for 'no pause between tracks'. It's on the Add files screen, bottom right.

in nero 7 after you select make audio cd the box appears to add the tracks, on the right hand side is a small box to select that says 'no pause between tracks' obviously if you check that box there are no silent bits between each song.
