Gotta agree! I've heard that Islam is a growing religion here in the states as well. To tell you the truth I like the way they carry themselves (the black people not necessarily with the Nation of Islam) The women look dignified, proud and cultured. Christian women look either too happy (which is not a bad thing) or worried and they are always on a mission to save souls crying about Jesus and hardly about God. I'd rather marry a muslim woman and I'm hebrew (black jew).

You'll find that Christians in Britain see their religion as a belief -which is how it should be- and not a 'be all & end all' of life.

America has always done things 'big'. Your homes are bigger, your cars are bigger, your streets are wider and you 'ego's are bigger'. Ha! only joking c.j.!

Seriously though, when I was in LA last, people looked at me wierd when I told them I didn't believe in God, and that I came to my assumption about the age of 11. Throughout Europe it's accepted that most people are Athiest (but with an open mind about the existance of a 'God'.) That seems to be the difference between the two continents.

All I'm saying is 'don't judge all Christians, on the Christians in the USA!'

I agree what you say about Muslims BTW... I know several, including some you might call "fundamentalists". I've always found them very welcoming, civilised people. They tend to look down on the British for the amount people drink here - but they aren't the only ones!

All those people stating that Iran is a threat seem to ignore which nations have consistently created most of the problems in the Middle East.

Who brought the Baath party to power in Iraq?

Who initiated the Iran/Iraq war?

Who brought the Shah to power in Iran, leading to the Islamic revolution?

Who supported Saddam thoughout the 1980s?

Who handed Palestine over to European Jews?

Who props up murderous regimes in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco...

Clue: Iran is not the answer to any of the above.
