Yeah what next...some serial killer is going to develop a fixation with the girls and kill alll the guys working with them next because he thinks the girls are being hurt as he heard voices in his head that told him to do it ala Son Of Sam....TV is to blame for spreading this negative shit and is no friend to this industry.

I doubt anyone will see a real connection between palming off to a porno to him killng. The argument I would use is that porn probabbly stopped him from killing more people during the time he was whacking off.

lets face it, take away drugs and porn and there will be a lot of bored frustrated blokes looking for action elsewhere and lets face it most blokes are going to score better than others so you have a problem on your hands when there isnt enough to go around...But thats another debate entirely.

This is correct. Ol' Ted was trying to do anything he could to put off his date w/ Old Sparky (since retired). He even volunteered to be a profiler for the cops concerning other serial killers, providing "inside knowledge".
As he told one arresting officer, he was the meanest SOB he'd ever met.
I recall the opening of "SNL" after he was fried; guy walked on stage all blacked-up, hair frizzed, etc., & said "Hi, I'm Ted Bundy". They couldn't even get the joke off due to the thunderous ovation from the audience.
What slew me about the bastard was he killed young, good-looking, NICE girls who were often conned by his pretending to need help--like the world has too many of them!!

The likes of Ted Bundy are psychopaths. They cannot relate to other people, for them other people matter only inasmuch as they are useful to them, they cannot empathise with another person.

Psycopaths do whatever they want to gratify themselves, they cannot put themselves in the other person's position. For a psychopath to try and blame porn for his crimes is aburd, but Bundy was obviously trying to avoid the chair.

Incidentally, Bundy was very intelligent and good looking. He could easily have picked up women for sex. That wasn't the point. He wanted to kill them, so that's what he did, because he enjoyed it. The only thing that matters to a psychopath is his own enjoyment.

Bundy blatantly said that pornography was what shaped and molded his violent behavior. However, there was never any pornography found in his home when it was searched, nor was there any blame of pornography before this interview.

Naturally, I think this has had a huge impact on porn. The repercussions of it are not necessarily still being felt, but someone who was so violent blamed something that people take part in on a regular basis. Bundy was basically saying that pornography had brainwashed him, and forced him to live out the images he saw on screen, or in magazines.

I remember reading an interview with Debbie Harry where she said she got into a stranger's car for a while but felt creeped out by the guy and there was a strange smell.
Looking back she's pretty sure it was Ted.
