Very eloquent, not right about the whole Jews and Buddhists not using violence though, but otherwise spot on.

A brave, Brilliant woman who, unfortunately will not be listened to by the extremist idiots she is talking about - old embittered men who are prepared to sacrifice one generation on behalf of another

Well, fancy that. A rational Arabic person - now there's something you don't come across everyday.

Dibble you ignorant moron - there's general rightwing bollocks (your usual output) and there's straightforward racism. This is the latter. And to think you're the guy who whinges about anti-Semitism at the drop of a hat.

"ignorant"?

That's a word you seemingly toss around with gay abandon. So, pray enlighten us as to what am I ignorant of? I expressed an opinion based on careful rational, (now there's an interesting word) observation through my interest in politics and current affairs over many years. In saying I am ignorant you seem to be suggesting I am unacquainted with certain facts that you, presumably, are not? Are you saying my observations are somehow flawed, that I have been duped? That maybe I?m the victim of a CIA plot to doctor media interviews with said middle eastern folk, to make them look bad, make them look like it would be impossible to have a deal with them? Hey, maybe you?re suggesting it?s George Dubya himself who?s behind it all? Maybe him and Rupert Murdoch are in cahoots to take over the world and this is just one facet of their evil plan? And why stop there? You dig nutty conspiracy theories, so how about this ? This is all part of a much wider plot by the Klingons (yes, they of Star Trek fame) to take over the world and impose a seriously right wing, fascist, militaristic dictatorship of extreme prejudice. Maybe Gorge Dubya and our Tone are their agents on Earth? Maybe they are really Klingon fifth columnists, disguised a politicians? Maybe when they get on the old secure ?hotline? they talk in their real lingo ? ?Nanoo, nanoo, Tone.? ? ?Yes, Nanoo, nanoo, George?? So, I reckon that trumps all your comparatively mundane conspiracy theories. Beat that one if you can.

?racist??

Hey, now this is your favourite aspersion, isn?t it? How many times a day do you cast it? This is the main bee in your bonnet, your main obsession, and it dives you to distraction. It?s such a big zealous bee that it quite often drives you over the edge of reason, making you look silly. Have you ever thought of seeking advice to curb this bee?s excess and impart a more rational, objective, mainstream disposition? You?d feel much better about things, more relaxed, less paranoid.

?Anti-Semitic?

My rants against anti-Semitism are due to my view that it is all a load of silly, pretentious (and quite ugly) middleclass bollocks. The main reason that many middleclass people are anti-Israel (and by extension, anti-Jew) is simply that other middleclass people are. They want to feel cool, part of the middleclass ?in crowd?. They want that cosy uplifting feeling of moral righteousness that they are so adept at imbuing themselves with. But in many instances they are just self-deluded, irrational, knobheads that can maybe speak French and do Trigonometry or something.

My view of Israel is that it is a stable, rational, western-style democracy of clever, efficient, inventive, industrious people who the west can do business with. That they don?t stand for the slightest bit of crap from their nutty neighbours only serves to enhance my respect and admiration for them. So, stick that in yer pipe?

You seem to be ignorant of the fact that referring to an entire racial group of 200 million people ("Arabs") as "irrational" is racist by definition, not to mention offensive. Ignorant is an excellent word to use in this scenario, as it seems that you know little or nothing about Arabs. I'd guess you've never been to an Arab country, or spent significant time among Arabs elsewhere, and it shows. You are therefore, by definition, ignorant of Arabs and their culture.

In my experience of visiting Arab/Muslim countries and the USA, I find Americans far less aware and far more irrational than Arabs. But it's the fashion to bash Arabs at the moment (among ignorant people).

Ignorance isn't a crime - we're all ignorant about one thing or another. But holding an opinion on a subject in which you are ignorant is just dumb.

See above.

If you make a derogatory statement like "Arabs are X" or "Chinese people are Y" or whatever, that's racist. Here's a more formal definition from Chambers:

"racism noun 1 hatred, rivalry or bad feeling between races. 2 belief in the inherent superiority of a particular race or races over others, usually with the implication of a right to be dominant. 3 discriminatory treatment based on such a belief. racist noun, adj. "

This video was put together by MEMRI, an US organisation that is supposed to offer translation between Arabic and the west. Most of the stuff that comes out of it tends to be anti-arab and pro-west/Isreali with selective editing. The co-founder and president of Memri, and the registered owner of its website, is an Israeli called Yigal Carmon. Colonel Carmon spent 22 years in Israeli military intelligence and later served as counter-terrorism adviser to two Israeli prime ministers, Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin. Another 2 of the staff are ex-Isreali secret services.

"MEMRI "are selective and act as propagandists for their political point of view, which is the extreme-right of Likud [...]. They simply don't present the whole picture."
Vincent Cannistraro, a former counterintelligence official with the CIA

"does not present a balanced or complete picture of the Arab print media. Its owners are pro-Israeli and anti-Arab. Quotes are selected to portray Arabs as preaching hatred against Jews and westerners, praising violence and refusing any peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue."
William Rugh, former US ambassador to the United Arab Emirates and Yemen
