Minder and The Sweeney usually had a bit of nudity.I remember a few episodes of each featured strip clubs.

Also does anyone remember The Cleopatra`s? Sort of like I Claudius only in ancient Greece.Had a fair bit of nudity.

TV in the 70`s and early 80`s did have had more nudity and violence.Those were days of pushing back the boundries.Its all gone a bit inspid now.

I remember an episode of Minder with Debbie Linden (a Page 3 girl of the time) who was playing a stripper, and it had bags of gratuitous nudity.

TV seems to be afraid of gratuitous nudity in drama / comedy programmes these days.

Debbie Linden never appeared in Minder. She WAS in an episode of The Professionals, and later, playing Young Mr Grace's secretary.
The stripper you may have thought of was 'Debbie' who played an on/off girlfriend of Terry McCann. 'Debbie Mitchell' was played by Diana Malin who seemed to disappear altogether after her episodes of Minder. She did get her tits out a few times, and she also flashed her arse in an episode.

Likewise an episode with Candy Davis....

I remember a c. 1980 variety show on ITV with a stripper on before 9- she stripped down to a thong and had stickers over her boobs....how did they get away with that?
