When I worked the door Joe some of the biggest problems we had often came about through couples arguing.

You could almost guarantee that when 'management' stepped in the women went to the blokes defence.

He's not doing any harm he was just talking to me type of replies.

As they were both escorted out the reason given was their 'discussion' was spoiling other punters fun.

We always preferred punters telling us if a problem was going on but depending on the heat of the argument I could understand someone who stepped in as long as it was just to ask if they were ok, if for example they were a lot closer than I or my colleagues were.

For me it will always depend on the heat of what is being said and more importantly how distressed the recipient was becoming.

Personally if the women was giving as good as she got I'd say nowt, unless what was being said was spoiling what I was doing or offending anyone I was with. Work wise they would both leave.

We had a type of Prefect in our school, but you could ONLY be a prefect, if you were in lower 6th form, or uppper 6th form, & then only if your grades were high enough to warrant you not bothering to attend all classes.
