Did you all know, by the way, that it was our very own darling New Labour and Tories that have been the sole masterminds behind the Eastern Europeans joining? I heard that it was them, not the mainland Euros that have been trying to force the move for the Eastern Euros to join, because they can see how valuable their workforce will be to our cheapskate employers.

There are a lot of xenophobes out there. How many of you want the rotten, low paid jobs these people fill and will continue to fill?

Your parents and grandparents didn't want them in the 1950s and 1960s and they were filled by Caribbean immigrants. In the 1970s and 1980s Spaniards and Portuguese came in and now its the Poles, next the Romanians and Bulgarians.

If you are all that concerned about the influx, press your MP to campaign to leave the EU and ban the import of foreign labour. Then make sure that at least one of your kids gets a job as a street sweeper/hospital porter/junior nurse or waiter - or another job which the average Brit won't touch or apply yourself.

The EU is about INTEGRATION and is the best hope for peace in Europe and (with a bigger population than/potentially more output than the USA) for a counterbalance to the USA and the new power of China and India.

Just a thought- if Britain still had an Empire, with the current ease of travel, no doubt you would all be protesting about the number of Indians, Nigerians, Kenyans etc., coming in

So its OK to leave the UK and live in someone else's country but not the other way round.

In most circumstances, countries a UK citizen may wish to emigrate to have very strict control over whom they allow in. Maybe the UK wouldn't be facing such an exodus if they applied the same?
How many hoops does one have to jump through, what criteria has to met to be allowed to live in Austrailia, New Zealand, USA etc? If you turned up with no skills, money etc you wouldn't have a hope in hell of a welcome!

I think you miss the point that we already have a very large pool of labour that can do all those jobs for FREE....the convicts. Get them out there wearing electronic tags doing all those jobs for nothing, rather than playing snooker and watching TV in jail, that's what I say.
