Minister resigns!

Tom Watson resigns because TB will not stand down! more chance he's doing it to try and get a bit of publicity because, unless he's the ex golfer, I for one have never heard of him.

I know we are not like the US and actually vote for a leader but most people vote for a party not their particular candidate and the leader of the party goes a long way when they make their choice. Would Labour have got to power in 97 with Brown at the helm? not personally a Blair fan but don't fancy living under that dour Scotsman either. If they want TB to stand down, they should elect a new leader and then call an general election to see if the voters want him.

Be interesting to see who Labour elect as leader as they know Brown has no charisma at all and may go for someone else (step forward man of principle Tom Watson)

I'd like to think he's a man with a conscience, but those ones resigned in 2003 when we first declared war. IMHO everyone who stayed in government after that has no morals or conscience.
