Blair shafted?

Post by strictlybroadband »

For years I've wondered at Brown's patience while Blair screwed him repeatedly. At last it looks like the gloves are off. The knives are out... I wonder if he can last till May 31st or whether he'll have to resign before then?

I won't miss the child-murdering war-criminal bastard. By rights he'd be retiring to a cage in the Hague (maybe the one that Milosovic vacated) but more likely he'll end up on the boards of BP, Exxon, Halliburton and all those other corporations that he's spent his premiership helping out.

I agree about Blair but dont forget that Brown has backed him all the way regarding Iraq and other areas where British forces have been deployed so you can lock him in a cage as well.

Yeah I know. Not to mention Cameron and Howard who both have tried to get their tongues even further up Bush's arse than Blair managed. I won't vote unless there's some sign that someone will distance us from the US and Israel.

I'm more upset about all the British troops that New Labour's sent to be slaughtered by the Muslims for nothing more than Blair's thirst for oil and influence with the US. There, that's why all our troops are dying, for Blair's bank account and so Blair can snuggle up closer with his dimwit boyfriend in Washington!

Hi Strictly,

Brown knew the truth when the British public were deceived about the false threat of "weapons of mass destruction" posed by Iraq. He is a co-conspirator but now the public are docilely expected to accept him!

What we need is a free vote to establish a new leader who is not red in tooth and claw of the blood of many innocents.

The mechanism for electing a truly independent British leader doesn't exist within our democracy anymore. Blair's great "triumph" has been to create a quasi-one party state like in the US, where you can vote for either party and get pro-corporate policies from either.

Unless we see a new party formed on the left, probably by a breakaway from "Labour", we can only now choose between Tory or Tory-lite.

BTW - the "public" might have been deceived by Blair's dossiers and assorted bollocks but I wasn't (nor were the couple of million who marched). The UN weapons inspectors KNEW there were no significant WMD, and they told us repeatedly. So you're right, Brown and the rest, Tory and Labour, are all up to their eyeballs in mass murder.

I have just had a look on Betfair at the odds for the next Labour Leader, the decimal odds for Gordon Brown are 1.44 which means you would win ?0.44 for every ?1.00 staked, i dont think this is very good value at this early stage as Brown is no dead cert to win but you could take Alan Johnson at 9.2 which gives you ?8.20 for every ?1.00 staked ,or John Reid at 15.0 which means you would win ?14.00 for every ?1.00 staked these are the first three in the betting and 2 Jags is nowhere to be seen!love!
