help with format extentions

Post by dom number one »

Hi there,

Im trying to write descriptions for movie formats and file extentions for the users of my new site,

example, .mov must be viewed with quicktime player.
I know the basics my self but if anyone can offer more detailed info i would be happy to hear, what is the difference and advantages between rm & wmv? what player do you need to view MPEG4 & MP4.

Can anyone help me with this? im no genius!

thanks in advance.
