Great music website - Pandora

This has been mentioned on this forum before, but it is worth mentioning again.

It is the Pandora website:

It is like an online radio station and music store combined.

But the clever thing is, you enter an artists name (or song name) you like, and it plays THIER music, but it also plays other similar artists music.

There is no cost, no advertising, and the whole track is played. You do need to register (easy) and even the year you were born helps to plan the music they play.

You can enter lots of different artists, and each one becomes its own unique radio station.

The web site also learns what you like and plays more music of that style.

One extra thing.

Being someone who grew up in the 1960s I have entered many 60s groups like Beatles, Beach Boys, etc.

But in doing so it has played some other 60s based bands, including The Who, Kinks, Dave Clark Five etc.

It also has some "obscure" 60s bands like Nice and Soft Machine so there is quite a variation.

I have also set up a Frank Sinatra station for some easy listening, a Miles Davis station for some Jazz and a Jean Michel Jarre station for some electronic music.

So it is very varied and has music of all tastes.
