Local Authorities

At the moment i am dispute with my local authority about my council tax ( i know thats nothing new) but the thing is the unelected people who now run these local authorities have as much if not more power than Central Goverment and the Councillers who were voted on to the Council are now just Symbollic, these people are appointed they then appoint others of their own standing and they are now virtually running the country and all with Tony Blairs blessing, now wonder the old battle axe Claire Short says we need a hung parliament theres a few i would love to hang, the police and all the other agencies now have the power to do as they like, in nine years of goverment Dictator Blair has destroyed democracy, two years ago i complained to the Ombudsmen about my local authority who found in my favour and i was awarded compensation but now the Ombudsmen has had his claws trimmed to the bone and can now only make reccomendations which of course the council will take no notice of and will just carry on as they like, Democracy does not exist in this country anymore!sad!

And you are talking out of your arse, with unelected councils now deciding on setting the council tax and how the money is spent, civil servants writing laws which are virtually just rubber stamped with little or no debate on them in parliament, police chiefs also dictating the law, and Tony Blair dictating what he wants not what the goverment wants, then no democracy does not exist, and i agree with Claire Short to bring back democracy this country needs a hung parliament and for making public her views Dictator Blair had her thrown out of the labour party.

Fuck Claire Short...she showed herself to be just another gravy train passenger when she didn't quit her job (as promised) in protest of the war on Iraq.

At least Robin Cook had the balls to make good on his word.
