In 1st century Rome, the Christians were considered a dangerous terrorist sect. Nero was probably right in his view that they caused the fire which partially destroyed the city. But I can beg to differ on this. Their sex lives are not private. They are (legally) children. In our society we deem that fourteen year olds are children ? naive, inexperienced, irresponsible, individuals subject to moods swings, tantrums and fads.
