Sperma Klinik-language problem
Just got a copy of this dvd to see the lovely Louise Hodges in action. I bought it from a Swiss co., orgazmik.com & it arrived in under a week. The menu says it has German/English/French sound, but the English sound is that of a narrator. The German & French sound seem to be a full overdub, I am at a loss as to why this dvd has been done this way & am very disappointed. To see Loise getting a good fucking & then saying "Oh Jah, Fick mir" or something is truly disapponting. Is my dvd faulty or is this what the germans call English sound? So much for winning the war, if this is how they treat us now!

So why do they try to tell us it has English sound, when anyone speaking English has been overdubbed into German? They have full German sound/full French sound but the closest we get to full English is probably sausage bacon & egg down the greasy spoon!

It never had an English soundtrack 'cause it's a naffing Bosch film ain't it? Most of the protaganists probably don't speak English anyway and it was obviously only intended (at the time) for a continental audience.
They say it's got English sound because the wonders of DVD allow them to dub an English soundtrack, or narration onto one of the audio tracks. Maybe they should have been more precise about this but the vast magority of those purchasing the product really won't give a fig!
Dibble - mildly miffed.

Re: Sperma Klinik-language problem
Exactly, but is this a surprise. All Private DVDs, for example, say they have English sound, yet as far as I can tell, even on the UK R18 versions - albeit they are just the originals with an R18 sticker on them - the original soundtrack is completely wiped (unsurprisingly, perhaps, given the multinational, non multi-lingual cast) and all of the six supposed 'languages' are dubbed entirely through narration. One thing video is better for: without the multi-language benefits of DVD, you only get one language, hence you can often get proper English audio (albeit subtitled) for Private films by Steve Perry/Frank Thring etc, as long as you get the right version.
