I've always understood this forum to be a place where people (regardless of whether they ask you personally to respond to their messages) can get a response without (especially JJ, demanding that they look at the previous threads) shitlods of abuse.

I think I made two posts last night and prior to that I had not posted since tuesday or wednesday AFAI can remember.

I dont recall ever having a dispute with you over any issue so whats your problem? If you have something to say then post it. If myself or JJ or anyone else has posted nonesense then that still does not prevent you from having your say does it? And if you take the time to read my posts you will see that I have not abused anyone.

So do your research before accusing me of abuse. And read the FAQ and you will see I have not broken any rules.

Not very. Simply did what jj often suggests - used the search facility, and there it was, seconds later. magoo and jj weren't very active earlier this morning, so there was plenty of time!!
What really appeals to me about this forum is that the characters are just that - characters, warts an all, without any posturing. They all manage to get to their computers without being hassled by a spouse/partner/boss/associate or anyone who could be an embarrassment to them. Which means that we tend to get a pretty down to earth, sometimes basic, response to criticism, or to views that run counter to theirs. It's a safe haven - you can be rude, and nobody can punch you!!!
jj and magoo are two of the more "in yer face" characters, and are often given to posting while while shovelling the grape. That is preferable, inmho, to acres and acres of crap that is often levelled at the girls who are, after all, the reason for this forum's existence.

Of course, in any group of souls, there are always one of two who will stand out, this is a form of natural selection if you like, and this drives the forum forward, otherwise it would just deteriorate into either a slanging match or purely populated by Billy Nomates types, hoping for some cheap thrills.
