I sat in the coffee bar in the Bulldog ,Leidseplein. I had bought some Turkish Black off the guy who was allowed to deal in the Bulldog. I sat at the bar. I burnt and crumbled some of the Turkses hashish into the Neiderweit.I lit the Kingsize joint and inhaled the sweet mixture with just a touch of pepper at the back of the throat. I came here every day to smoke some hash, drink some coffee and ogle the nice youg girl who served behind the bar.
"Koffee" I said "Verkeerd".
My coffee was served with swift efficiency . I feasted my eyes on her cute body ,exhibited by her tight skirt and top,her high heels clattered, signalling her submission to the dominant male. Suddenly my enjoyment was disrupted
A big guy squeezed himself down onto the stool next to me where I stood ,perched at the coffee bar.
His hang came over the top of my head and hovered above it.
"The Eagle has landed" said the CIA man as his open hand touched my hair.
I flicked my hand up and heard the snap of bone,then heard the cry of agony as the American. screamed for help.
I thought that it was about time to leave then.
Next morning I go to the Bulldog and I am served by the same barmaid. I order my cofee and smoke my pipe at the bar.
A detective enters and begins to question the girl behind the bar.
"Der Englander wat doen .... Said the policeman.
I understood the gist of the questions and answers. The girl told him that I did nothing" and that the American came in and put his hand on top of my head.
Her face was disgusted as she described the provocation,,
It was good this country" I thought they find out the truth before they arrest anyoneeven if you break a CIAs arm!.

I think that's pretty much what happened. The House Select Committee on Assassinations got very close to the truth in 1979. The main operator seems to have been one David Attlee Phillips, who was the head of the Western Hemisphere Division, and who liaised with anti-Castro Cubans under the name Maurice Bishop. The CIA was well versed in toppling governments they did not like, so it would not have posed them any moral or indeed practical problems to topple their own government, once they perceived it to be an enemy.
