Chinky - Racist/Offensive?

Its one of those weird ones Arnold. it just depends on whose saying it. If some one I know and am familiar with says|: Yo T what up my nigger? I dont think about it but someone I dont know uses the word at me I think its an engagement for a beat down. Or the alternative would be: Yo hows it hanging honky and it is received well then I would take it lightly.

Paki and chinky and nigger have struck me as shortened words to pakistani and chinese and nigerian. The only offence I think may be taken is that some people being called paki may in fact not want to be referred to as such because they are from India....Do not call a Jamaican a nigger because Jamaicans do not even like being associated with nigerians and therein lies the offence much the same way a paddy wouldnt want to be refered to as a geordie.

Come to think of it...I dont even know where the word wop came from. I-ties for italians would be more appropriate.

Comfortably Numb is one of the top 5 Pink Floyd songs ever, and a special song to any Pink Floyd fan, that version is painful to even hear, turning the sound down when he comes on and letting my dog sing whilst I play harmonica (Seamus, Meddle 1971) would sound better, Snowy White & Rick Difonzo can sure just about carry the solo, other than that the whole show is just a bad cover version all round.
