Does anyone know why the@ on my keyboard has changed to"? When I press the@key I get" ? When I press the " I get @! I have had this happen before but I can't remember how to solve it.

I think you need to change the from USA to English for the keyboard settings ... if i remember rightly i had to do this sometimes.

I know you are right but I have been into control panel and cannot see anything that relates to USA or UK keyboard settings!

Control Panel > Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options > Regional and Language Options > then make sure 'English [United Kingdom]' is selected.
