Do you think the finger of blame is pointing directly at the Kremlin and the Russian security service (FSB)?

I personally don't think the Russians would goto the hassle of tracking down and killing an ex-KGB agent in 2006,i mean how much damage could 1 ex-spy do.

I think its more likely to have been Putin haters here in the UK have taken Litvinenko out because he was an easy target and as a result of his death they get Front page and primetime news to highlight there cause.

The choice of Polonium tells you everything. The Russians could have shot him, but any criminal gang could have done that. Only the FSB can have done this hit, and that's the message they wanted to send. Obviously, it will never be proved. If, by some miracle, the British police ever found proof linking this murder to the Russian state, it will have to be suppressed. What are we going to do, declare war on Russia?

Putin was a KGB man before he became president, and clearly the KGB is like the Mafia, you only leave in a box. He is in essence a Facsist, who has destroyed free speech and a free press in Russia. Any journalist who takes him on ends up dead. I feel really sorry for Russia, there was a time in the 90's when they were on the verge of freedom, but the same corrupt Nomenklatura are in charge again, and a vicious bunch of corrupt murdering bastards they are.

nando rick u obviously haven't done ne research on this and are making a brash statement on wat u think has happened, theres been 16 anti-putin journalists who spoke out against putin and how he handles chechnya regularly all killed since he came to power, but hey! it must me those people killing there own just 2 try and get putin out of power...

surprisingly it looks like the government might actually go thru with a proper investigation into this!, i could only wonder if it was an american ex spy blabbing about america would such an investigation go thru?
