They've been out today (Sunday) sticking the old "British patriot" leaflets through the door, now whats the deal? not being up on politics really, the media portrays them as a bunch of hypodcritcal racists, They are in, in a local area, and actually seem to be doing soemthing about things that matter, don't bother flaming, as I'm neither for nor against, I'd just be interested to know, rather than having someone bore me to tears on my doorstep about why I should vote for them, as opposed to reasons why I shouldnt.

I think its a pretty sad state of affairs that as soon as you question the immigration state at the moment, you are branded a racist.
I happen to think that what some of the BNPs policies are regarding asylum seeking spongers and immigrants coming here for hand outs is spot on, and it would get MY vote. They DARE say what other parties dare not but probably should do.

Its scary but true but i was geared up to vote for them in the local elections and was disappointed when there wasnt a candidate in my ward.
I know they are nasty boot boys but as a disaffected labour voter (after new labour came into being) and then tactitly voting lib dem who also due to our voting systme will never have a chance.
The problem is all the parties are cut from the same cloth and represent the same middle class voters.
The only way things will change is the fear of another party gaining power.

I think the term racist is way overused, more often than not by the flag waving armchair campaigners who know fuck all about what they preach, I know someone who suffers serious mental health problems, a white guy, who barely gets any help, apart from presription pills, yet a black freind of his, has a social worker, someone else who PAYS HIM to tell him about his illness (?5 per session), a flat, and a grant for a car to get him around, if my mate was to cry "Racist" he'd be laughed at, yet look at it the other way around, which is exactly what he's milked to his advantage

Sorry but my home is a Hitler free zone but theres been a bloke with a tache in my bunker at the bottom of my garden for the last 49 years.
As i said in my post my reasons for wanting to vote for them are based on wanting a change to the system that is failing at the moment.
Like it or not they are a democratic party which are allowed/entitled to have people vote for them.
When you look at the amount of effort put into gagging the BNP by the other parties it shows that they are worried that they could reduce the stranglehold the 3 main parties have.

If people are considering the BNP as an alternative - god help us all. It seems people are only interested in extremes these days. Where have the politics of common sense gone? I see enough people on this forum alone with the brains to start a common sense political movement without the Nazi links.
I wonder if Nick Griffin has "blacked up" for a chance to see how minorities live having decided that homosexuals are repulsive creatures on the back of (no pun intended) a four year relationship with Martin Webster.
