There's also some guy on there doing covers of some solo Syd tracks, and he's pretty fucking good, type in "syd barrett cover versions" or something, a few gems on there, but nothing I haven't collected over the past 15 or so years, sad thing is they compress the shit out of it so it's small enough to upload, and pretty much destroys quality hanging on by a thread anyway, for a band that toured relentlessly from the late 60's to throughout the seventies, very little live footage exsists, the real tragedy is the Top of the pops performances of See Emily play (loads of shots on the net of them sitting on bean bags or something with mirrors behind them) just don't exsist, with the BBC wiping them when they moved the archive :-(

I put "Set the controls for the heart of the sun.." on my screen saver and my female colleague was baffled. Then again she likes Busted, McFly etc. When I said I was gong to see Waters in Manchester she flatly refused to believe he was playing the 14000 seater MEN and not some pub in Didsbury!

The opening is clearly an indication of how their relationship blossomed in later years. And where is that location?
