Mike we will have to disagree on this one, he was no warrior, he was a cowardly fuck, that raped murdered children women and men who tried to stand up to him, you need to do some more research on Saddam and his sons, they were all Monsters, you might have had an easier time as a sunni, like just loosing one hand etc,,

I don't know what Sadaam's attitude was to sex. Do you but I do know that he was not a religious maniac.
He was charged with killing a hundred and forty five people who had tried to murder him. Ruling a country like Iraq and staying alive is a tough business. Kill or be killed. His would be murderers lost their chance and failed. To survive in Iraq you have to be ruthless.

I don't think the Kurds felt safe sending their daughters to school while Saddam -and his henchmen- were in power. The Shias weren't Saddams friends either.
