of course - the "it's tight vote now" means we havent had enough Cowell hasnt made enough money - if they said "there is a runaway winner" then people stop as they feel they can no longer influence the vote.

what is worse is when they blank the vote for the bottom two so you should supposedly vote again - I assune the people who do this are the same people who stay up all night playing on the quiz channels - heard one guy on the radio who clocked up ?10,000 in a month - that's his phone bill not prize money!!
