British film 1960s help please

Hey again!!

Right as good as you lot are given the few details i can provide about this one i dont expect any joy,but im gonna give it a shot. I saw this film late at night on Chanel 4 a few times when i was very very yong and would like to see it again. All i can really sort of remember is it told the story of a young national service lad who was on his very last guard duty on his final night before going home. He was stuck in a guard house with a couple of other blokes,one of who kept winding him up to the point where the lad could not take it any more and stabbed him to death. The only other thing that sticks in my mind is a song they kept singing that went "Oh bombadier oh bombadier.i hear you cant hold half a beer"

How crap is that for you to go off but all help and feedback as all ways greatly appreciated.
