They advertise in this month's Bizarre and are flogging loads of R18 vids and dvds.

Does this mean the mail-order laws have been officially relaxed or are the authorities just turning a 'blind eye'?

Not officially relaxed TopShelf, but it does seem that everyone from DS down are simply ignoring them - as you do with absurd bullshit laws. And nowadays the old bill have other fish to fry. I rekon they've cottoned on to the fact that ordinary folk (as opposed to middleclass Gaudian reading ponces and barking mad Tory backbenchers) don't give a fuck about porn, but they are rather pissed off at those brainless baseball wearing scumbags that are currently causing so much greif and hasle on our streets, and diminishing the generall quality of life.

Dibble your right that most sensible people ignore this bullshit law. But you mentioned DS!!! Surely he is not selling hardcore by mail order. Its a national tradition that all punters who buy mail order from Dave receive a 20 minute soft tape of 70`s shorts despite the ad claiming hardcore.

But the fact still remains that the law is still current and with say a change of Government or a new minister all hell could break loose.

Not very comforting if your trying to make an honest living(DS excluded)dealling in porn to have some gorillas kick your door down and take away your lively hood.

The law seems to have the same take on all so called Taboo industries.

Its time we grew up and entered the real world,law wise.
