Orange mobile help

I'm shit scared of technology unless its a new BOSS guitar pedal, so try not to laugh at this one.
I have a Orange mobile phone and I very rarely use it outside work, but I was pissing about with it and deleted a Message Centre Number, and as a result, cannot send texts.
What number can I type in now I deleted the original.

Not laughing at all!! Try this it might work. Type in 0044 and then your mobile number minus the first digit. Just like calling from abroad. Think thats it....not sure though. Hope it works mate

I'm on orange. Is it the 'Service Centre'# in the text message options? If it is, mine is +447973100973.

Nope, that didn't work, but I appreciate your advice.

Now my Boss pedals are very good, I have a ME-50 and its pretty tasty. I 'know' them well. If YOU want advice on phasing or patch settings, I can help.........mobile phones? You might as well ask my cat

My PAYG that I've had at least five years is 447973100973.

Can only suggest you phone them, at a quiet time if possible.

Same number for me too - Ace have you tried the Master Reset? I'd use it as a last resort though and I'd do as sparky says first and call Orange.

Just want to big up all that posted regarding my message centre number and to Arnold Layne who emailed me with advice.
Its now rectified and I can start sending sick joke texts like the few I have recieved today
