Retro gaming: Playstation 1 emulator/ ROMs

I'm into my retro gaming, and have most of the older emulators for the PC.

However, does anyone know where I can get a good emulator for the Playstation 1, and a good site to get old ROMs for it?

I had to go to a russian site to get most of the good roms for SNES/Megadrive.......... these sites are hard to find for PSX.

Yes, I've tried Googling- only to get 90 squillion hits, most of which involve 'voting' to promote summit or other.

So, can anyone help??
