As well as being supremely ugly it is apparent she has been savagely over promoted..to hear her on 'Today' reminded me of Prestcott.shallow as hell....like him or not ..at least Blair has a grasp of the issues..this woman is a lightweight ....

>at least Blair has a grasp of the issues

Maybe issues on the world stage but not at home.

If he does have a grasp at the issues at home why has he done nothing about them.

Years ago he said "crime and the causes of crime"

What has he done about crime, only made it so people serve less sentences.

And immigration.

We have had rampant uncontrolled immigration, much of it illegal, resulting in the murder of policemen, organised gangs from Romania and other Eastern European countries robbing us all, and so much more.

He has done immense damage to this country that may take decades to sort out (if at all).

Don't forget the fact that we are now the highest taxed country in western europe, and before people start saying that the french, germans etc. have to pay for medical insurance, it is the high spending and wastage in the NHS and public sector that has crippled the UK and continue to do so.

In 1997 the uk was one of the lowest taxed countries, now we are the highest in europe ! heres to president "one eye" Brown

not sure where you get those figures from

Central and northern EU countries tend to have the highest tax burdens. Sweden is number one at 50.5 percent, followed by Denmark (48.8 percent), Belgium (45.2 percent) and Finland (44.3 percent). Other notables include France (43.4 percent), Italy (40.6 percent), and the United Kingdom (36.0 percent).

we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester

Diplodocus. That's how I have always understood it. I know people who live in France and Belgium and they are always telling me about how much tax they have to pay.

But then I hear people say things like Von Boy has - that the UK is the highest taxed country in Europe and I wonder where the stats are to back that up.

Where did you get your figures from Dipodocus ? I like to know so that I can enter the argument in the pub next time someone tells me how over taxed we are in this country.

It's usually a "mate" who has been on invalidity benefit for the last five years telling me this. He has six kids all at school. Suppose he doesn't have anything to do with his days other than breed.

I don't know where he thinks all the money is coming from to put his brats through school.

The UK is the 18th most expensive place to live as a single adult, out of 30. We fall joint 15th for the most expensive place to live for an adult with a family (2 children).

UK VAT and the price of food/clothing/transport etc probably makes the UK one of the most expensive places to live, but complain about retail prices and VAT, not income taxation levels.

If you're single go live in Korea or Mexico. If you've a family move to the Ireland or Iceland.
