I remember recording the Benny Hill Show in the late seventies on a bloody Philips N1700 VCR which had a habit of eating tapes. When it ate my favourite Benny Hill tape with the best ever Hill's Angles segment on it I was heart broken.

his shows are on dvd now from 1970-80.iused to have a beta max that killed tapes and lid got stuck a few times.Deano! wrote:
