DVD players remembering.

Post by mart »

My standalone DVD player (about 4 years old) doesn't remember where I've stopped watching whereas the player in my PC does.
Do the new generation of players have a bookmarking facility?
It would be great if a retrofit was possible.

Both my players, a Burnstar and a Pacific remember if you only press stop one and of course don't switch off or remove the disc.

I doubt if any players actually log different DVD's like PowerDVD program does.

Some recorders keep a library of DVD's they have recorded on.

I've used a few 'stand alone' DVD players recently, and they all take up from whence they left off unless you press 'STOP' about 98 times.
