exactly, so insted of just saying "yes lets do it" or "no its a crap idea" we should give it a go (unofficially), that way we would find out if it is or not.
i suppose its like watching a film, people can say its a good film or a bad one till their blue in the face but you will never know for yourself till you watch it.
