Wendy & BGAFD Event - Report type thingy

Post by Crimpo »

Just rolled into Crimpo Towers after the second half of the six hour round trip to the BGAFD Event. First of all, congrats to Wendy for the organising job - a lot of hassle but I hope you think that it was worth it. Everyone looked to enjoy themselves - a positive vibe and a good laugh or three. Those who attended and haven't tried out Wendy's site might like to do so as a mark of appreciation - its well worth it anyway, come on do yourself a favour!

Big pluses of the event - 1) putting faces to a lot of BGAFD names, both the famous and the infamous! 2) Meeting up with the legendary Cornish Chris (cheers mate - I'll pass on a tale about my little prezzy another time!) 3) Getting my profession insulted by the legendary Marcus - I've always felt left out because he'd never had a go at me on the board! 4) Not meeting Magoo (he and I disagree on SO many things! :-)

and

oh yes (to misquote the Fabulous Thunderbirds)

how do you spell love - L-A-Y-L-A (thanks babe - you did indeed make an old man very happy!)

Ah yes - the BGAFD Event - those who missed it missed out - if Cornwall and Yorkshire were represented then where were YOU! Come on folks - support your local pornstars!

Crimpo (and no I'm not a f@*&ng hairdresser!)

Layla was indeed the life and soul of the party. I, meanwhile, was - well, whatever the opposite of 'life and soul' is ('death and, um, punk..?'). Having got up at 7am to watch the Ireland World Cup game - and not being able to watch football without consuming alcohol - I ended up drinking (slowly but steadily) for about 12 hours by the time I hit the do. Consequently, I had hit that level of lethargy that hits you after 10-15 pints, and even a couple of cans of Red Bull in the afternoon couldn't make me any livelier or more interesting (not pissed - 'cause of the slow intake - just tired).

Apart from chatting with the one bloke there who subverted even me on respect for dress codes, I spent much of the evening standing in the corner yawning. I did get a brief glimpse of Rebekah Jordan's tits, though (worth the admission money in itself). And I passed Billy Bragg in the street just outside the venue (I don't think he had a ticket).

If that wasn't enough of an adventure, I got home to discover that my local had a late licence ('cause of the Bank Holiday) and, for one day only, an 8% guest ale on draught. Plus someone has invented green After Shock. And I ended up sat a table with, and chatting to, the organisers of a radical feminist lesbian protest group, who, bless them (as I was drunk enough to admit to my evening out) approve of porn. [NB I am not making this up - I live in Brighton Kemp Town, the UK's lesbian capital.]

So thanks to everyone who made this day great; Mark Kinsella and the rest of the Ireland World Cup team; Wendy, Lay, Rebekah, Bill and all the other guys and gals at the party; everyone who makes alcohol, particularly the After Shock and vodka jelly corporations; and porn-loving feminist lesbians everywhere.

I have just got in. I feel strange. Thank God I don't have to get up tomorrow.

*remembers 10.30am England World Cup game*

Oh shit...

Thanks Crimpo. I am so glad I did not spoil your evening by turning up.

It was impossible for me to get there and still get back in time for another commitment so please stop criticising those people who could not make it. I bet there were a few people who said that they would be there but never arrived. I said from the start I probably could not go.

I am glad it was all a success.

PS Crimpo which are you? An estate agent or a banker? :-)

Well done Wendy - it was a great evening. You deserve a a big gold star for organising it.

I went along not really knowing what to expect, which was probably the best way to do it, but I had a lot of fun.

Crimpo's right about Layla-Jade being the life and soul of the party. She dragged me onto the floor for a dance, and we were bopping for quite a long time - joined by a few others as well. Had some good chats with Wendy, Rebekah Jordan, Violet Storm, Louise, Sandy, Shaz and Avalon - if there was a prize for 'shortest dress' she'd have won it!! - and apologies if I've forgotten anybody. It was also good to meet the legendary Phil McC (Jim) and Marcus.

As I said to quite a few people last night, one of the things I like best about this forum is the way the girls and producers also contribute. As a punter I find their 'take' on the industry interesting.

Thanks again, Wendy, and everybody else.

Hey Magoo

If you supported the event but couldn't make it - then fair play to you. You and Buttsie are excluded from the above post (well on that grounds at least!)

Peace and harmony - dontcha love it!

Hey Paul how could you forget Autumn - she prob caused a bit of overload in your brain, eh. Happened to head down Wardour Street a way behind this young lady and lets just say if I had a quid for every turned head then I could retire from my job and not have to work Sundays any more :-)

Great evening, not sure like others have said of what to expect. Initially the only people i knew were the lovely Layla J, who was swinging her pants on the dancefloor. So what the hell, i waded straight in and said hi to Layla :-) Now this young lady is much taller than i expected, and is more gorgeous and intelligent in real life, trust me. I asked Layla if she know any of the BGAFD "characters". I was directed to that well known gent Woodgnome, and another bonus "Tonka" (sorry if i got that wrong) of the AKA Nadia website fame. We talked the talk, about ladies etc, etc.. Woodgnome your trip to that 30 Girl Orgy must have been something else. Must get to know BIG JIM ;-)

On the ladies present, the gorgeous hostess with the mostest, Wendy, WOW what a fun lady she is. The lovely and enormously cute Rebekah, turned up, and Avalon (AKA Jadene) must get the award for shortest skirt, and most flashing ;-) Autumn a new girl on the block, looked stunning in a tight Latex bodice. There were plenty of others also there, too much totty so little time :(

Met the larger than life charater Marcus Allen, he is as mad as his online persona, trust me :-) Phil Mc and Violet were chatting to everyone, Phil showed me and Woodgnome violets latest set in Penthouse, and it looks like Violet is the editor now, nice work. Lots of picture were taken, so all we need now is someone with webspace and enough bandwith to take a lot of piccies. Met "Richie Rich" and "Cornwall Chris" who both snapped away like mad all night, must have some good piccies lads, please share 'em! Sounded like one hell of an adventure your drive up to London Chris, with the lovely Layla aboard ;-)

Most outrageous behaviour, goes to One-Eyed Jack Terry(?) who kept having to go to the loo (girls) with great regularity, Shaz was in there 20 mins, and others followed :o)

Great fun, a great success and tribute to Wendy's hard work. Next time maybe a different sort of venue, less loud music. Lots of ideas were mentioned, more of a stag type do perhaps, just an idea.

Kryten.

I'd just like to add my thanks to Wendy for organising last night and to all those in the biz who came along. It was nice to put faces to names even if the names aren't your real ones. When I get home I'll be putting all the pics I took on some webspace courtesy of freeserve, till then Thanks to all who came and to those who didn't you missed a good night.
