...but I recently bemoaned those who post asking for people to contact them of board, and then dont reply. With the honourable exception of Melsmovies, KazB and Elizabeth Lawrence, the rest of you I replied to, get your fingers out. One guy even reposted to say what a poor response he'd got. Try replying to those that take the time and trouble to contact you.

What its about, CJJ, is websites, 'producers' or whoever, asking for models to contact them for work, then not replying, not within a couple of days but within a week or more. I am not a model but I am trying to promote a friend who wants to get back into adult work but hasn't got an internet connection at present. I have contacted six or seven over the past few weeks and with the mentioned honourable exceptions I'm still waiting for the courtesy of a reply from the rest, even if its to say, thanks but no thanks. I dont want to name names, perhaps the odd email didn't reach one of them, but I have sent again. It might seem petty of me, but how much does a little courtesy cost them?

Yeah you're right. You would expect at least a phone call saying something. I guess they're waiting for YOU to follow up by calling. I don't know for sure but I figure if you friend has been in the business before then they would have a portfolio full of pics and stuff to see so that could help sell themselves but of course you have to set up a meeting which brings us back to the call back from your contacts. Try calling back and see what happens. Treat it like getting a job.
