Filming Outdoors

After reading a topic on the forum, I wanted to ask a question:

When filming outdoor scenes, do producers just film in Britain and at the start of a scene say 'Well, here we are in Belgium / Germany / Holland / somewhere where it's legal to film outside.'?

Or do you actually go abroad to film?

Any outdoor shoot in the U.K. has its risk because of our draconian laws, i got caught on this one but that is part of the risk !thumbsup!!bow!!love!

The law wont concern you unless you are applying for a BBFC certificate of classification. If you do you merely enclose a written statement saying that only crew and performers were present and no member of the public could see any sexual activity.
