Feminists in power have been consistent in their war on porn since their emergence in the Sixties. I remember well their first appearance on a debate on pornography and censorship at the NCCL (now Liberty). Six hostile females in boiler suits glowered at me as I spoke and shouted that ?porn is the propaganda rape is the practise.? These so called socialist middle class females often have a cell in some University where they use the phones and computers for free to carry on their crusade. Their ?sisters? are still there carrying on this holy war in 2007. They simply reiterate the moral values of their parents but dressed in different clothes. The unholy alliance between these feminists and the authoritarian fundamentalist of all ilk?s is justified by the ?means justifies the end? and the romantic notion that they are fighting the revolution for women?s rights.

Together we can call them the censorship of ?degrading and subservient? images of women movement. They are very strong at the moment in the UK and that is the reason I have left. For those photographers and film-makers of sexual imagery who remain what usually happens is that the Beast of Censorship grows ever hungrier and wants more and more. Who sets the censorship criteria? Is it the police as the propaganda put out in the media often tells the British public, The BBFC or is it the Home Office department on Film Censorship Obscenity and Pornography? There is only one way to describe the position in the Kit is state censorship. Going to the BBFC on bended knee or inviting the Head of the OPS for a discussion wont alter a thing because the criteria is already been fixed by the above mentioned department of the Home Office. An authoritarian regime requires the sexual control of the people?

When using the VRA the authorities always justify their actions against porn by saying that in their opinion it would breach the Obscene Publications Act when in fact if the creator of the so called obscene article were given a trial under the OPA they would be acquitted.

They're all idiotic, ugly, middleclass silly cows (except Naomi Wolfe, who is a startlingly beautiful silly cow) who have totally lost touch with reality and talk a load of sloganeering middle-class bollocks. The silly fuckers are usually to be found on university campuses or Labour party constituency meetings. They almost always work in the public sector, along with similar dour, earnest, crackpots, and tend to avoid the private sector because private sector men are much less poncy than public sector men and might say to 'em - "Wheyhey! It is widely accepted that feminists are doolally (except in NuLabour circles), as they believe that all men are rapists, women can drive cars and that sex was conceived by men to oppress 'wimmin'.

Remember that when you next see some woman railing on about the evils of porn and how sad and pathetic it makes men. They should help the cause by giving you a blow job there and then I reckon.

Dont they realise that men need visual aids to have a wank. Unless some girl is going to strip off and dance around for your entertainment porn is a lot less complicated and more to the point.

Then again if they stop wearing those butch boiler suits it might help their cause a bit more.

Oops sory Keith, a room for a rant if I may and this may seem in defence of the more extreme porn that seems to be prevalent today but I have to say that peoples tastes in porn reflects a need for what they really want.

Although its not my cup of tea, I'm sure to some my views may seem pedestrian but all this misrepresentation of women is an indulgence on the part of men. lets face it, men make the kind of porn for men that men get off on. If it appears hateful, it doesnt mean a man is necessarily hateful or misogynistic towards women, it is merely an outlet. Like watching a science fiction film. its all fantasy.

If a bloke indulges himself in a fantasy while having a tug at some porn film doesnt necessarily make him a serial rapist but it might help him retain his sanity if he is a hen pecked servile type.

In short porn is still a fantasy and if you cater to womens right about what makes 'decent' porn then you are taking the battle into some politically correct territory and not solving th eproblem at all. Porn is still very much a fantasy consisiting of the kind of sex many want to watch but can never get the opportunity to live out.

I like to think that porn does its part in healing the world. For better or for worse...within reason mind.

Besides I know a few posh type ladies that love a bit of rough. That must say something in itself. And they are no less feminist for it.
