I just couldn't remember the animals. But whatever building they were found in, they should have been conviscated and destroyed as the racist trash they are! Would they have been allowed to keep them if they were Christian books? I don't think so...

Quite true SB, though these same books are thought to have been printed in the same way and issued in other Islamic schools throughout the UK, which would be a shame.
I'm glad the said passages were removed as it's not really a good idea to indoctrinate young children, and teach them 'hate' at such a young age (if any age is ok).
There's just a small niggle in the back of my mind that won't go away though. You see...........
..........say it was a private school run by the BNP in some dreary suburb, and books were found where young children were being taught that black Africans were 'monkeys & niggers' and Oriental people were 'slanty eyed chinks'..........well I think there would be closures, sackings, public outrage, and court cases, along with law suits.
The Islamic school/s in question were reprimanded, but it was basically a slap on the hands with a 'tut tut'.
Of course we're talking hypothetically here as I doubt the BNP would be allowed to even get their hands on a school in the first place(which is a good thing obviously), but it makes me uneasy that the relevant authorities would find it more comfortable to come down harder on one racist, bigoted, hate-spreading group(who happen to be mainly white), but would feel uncomfortable dealing out the same punishment to an ethnic, racist, bigoted, hate-spreading group.
Lots of people (from all walks of life) feel unfairly treated, and it's this that infuriates some people.
Teaching children such hate is very wrong, and they should have been made an example of in my opinion.
