A lot of us do care. Black and Asian people have fundamentally changed British culture, just as racists warned they would 40 years ago. The thing is, most of us would agree it's changed for the better. British culture was BORING before mass immigration. Some people might want to go back to how it was in the 40s, but I fucking don't!

In what way was British culture worse in the 40s? And don't say the technology, because that was mostly developed by the UK and Germany, so that would've still happened without the immigrants from the Third World. And culture wise, we, the native Brits have gotten most of the changes from the Americans (films, TV, fast food, toys etc.).

Back in the late 80' early 90's as a teenager living in Birmingham with an Irish name (which I rarely use now as no-one can pronounce it), I can fully understand why Mulims feel picked on. You see I was always seen as IRA. I was responsible for the 1974 pub bombings even though I was three at the time. I planted the bomb in The Yard of Ale. I was fucking IRA. I had no choice in that, society had branded me because I was Irish living in an Irish community.

Got a bit fucking tiresome to be honest but what could I do?

I don't know what british culture was like in the 1940's but for instance in the 1970's we didn't have almost no reggae played on radio. Hell, in the 1970's (and maybe the 60's) over there I understood y'all had a heavy ska and reggae culture. So at least the US wouldn't have had an influence in that type of music getting there. Consider yourselves lucky.
