It seems that god bothering evangelists can now tout for donations on their rancid channels on Sky.

Hang on a minute, the Catholic Church has been demanding money with menace for centuries. Pay the priest or you are going to hell!

My dad had neighbours in the 1940s who were staunch Catholics but very poor, when the priest called round the whole family decamped into my Grandmother's kitchen! And she was Church of Scotland!

Its religion itself that does that, TV is just the modern way of spreading the scam, its much easier and cheaper than building churches, temples etc, to expoloit the weak.
