After our public spat of the other day, Magoo and myself have corresponded via e-mail and both realise what complete and utter silly arses we have been.
I suspect that as regulars on this forum, we should have been more professional to each other. But I realise that we were both having a bad day, and things got a little out of hand.
That said we have "kissed and made up" so to speak and I am looking forward to Magoo's return to this forum.
He is a major source of fascinating info and would be sorely missed.
Remember people think before you post, if you do not have something positive or complementary to say its better to say nothing at all.
This is a lesson both of us have learned, but to the cost of much nastiness which we both now regret.
I know this is just common sense to most of you, but sometimes our emotions just get carried away, and we say/type things we latter regret.
Glad to have you back as a allie Magoo don't stay away too long, as I know you are missed already.
Cheers Peace & Love Cornish Chris.

Re: Magoo & Cornish Chris in agreement !!!!!!
I agree with what Cornish Chris said. And I thank him for making the effort to sort out our silly dispute. As a wise man (or was it Alec? LOL) once said its easy to misunderstand people on the forum because we cant see each others faces or hear each others tone of voice so it is easy to pick people up the wrong way. Sometimes a tounge in cheek post may be taken seriously. Or people might see critisism in an innocent remark. Or people like myself may wind people up when I have had a few drinks. And then regret it the next day!
I think after all the exitement of the build up to the bgafd event and the long holiday weekend coupled with things like the tension I felt over JJs disappearance we were both in a rather excitable state and all it took was a little spark and the fireworks went off. But after talking with Cornish Chris about the various things we had said to each other during our little spat it became clear that we both had the wrong impression of each other and we infact agree on most of the issues we argued over.
Alls well that ends well. I still think I really should take a small break from the forum. Or perhaps spend a little less time here as I never get any work done. But this place is very addictive so I may not be able to resist it. And as Marcus Allen pointed out he needs at least one drinker to keep him company.
BTW There is a program on C4 at about 1am tonight called The History of Hardcore which will probably be of interest to most of you.

Re: Magoo & Cornish Chris in agreement !!!!!!
Carl. I would prefer a Boys AND Girls Club than a boys club. After all its our interest in the girls that brings us here. That said I make no apologies for humour. After all the silliness about food and big pants did amuse Hannah Coleman but I do accept sometimes a joke can go on for too long and irritate people.

Re: Magoo & Cornish Chris in agreement !!!!!!
My break seems to be getting shorter by the minute! I am glad we cleared up our problems. I am trying to watch Question Time but keep finding myself misteriously drawn back to the forum. See what I mean about it being addictive. So many characters and points of view it is hard to ignore the forum. If you look at other forums there are very few posts at all. The fast pace of this one combines the elements of forum and chatroom I think. Not that I have ever used a chatroom. But if someone posts a question here they get a fast reply due to the large number of posters. On a lot of other forums you might wait weeks for a single answer.
Sorry I think I have verbal diareoh....erm..diorreah..no thats wrong erm how do you spell it(sounds like diorea - the shits)? Oh you know what I mean. A few days off posting and it all comes rushing out in one go.
