Plenty of seafood here in Puglia and very cheap and I eat it several time a week.
Two dozen oysters on a bed of ice, a touch of Tabasco and lemon juice-delicious. Calamari too but it is a bit of a job cleaning them pulling out the spines, scraping the skins and cutting out the beak, being careful not to pierce the ink bladder. Delicious again. Those "gamberi" are divine.
I love all kinds of shellfish and they are so healthy.

Now, you are making me hungry, when we go to Italy we eat like pigs! one of the best seafood dishes there is 'Spaghetti ai Vongole' i.e. 'Spaghetti with Clams' or 'Spaghetti ai Gamberone' is a belter too.
God, I'm going mad here, need to get back to Italy for some decent grub.
