Most Nurses I know do it for the money. They don't give a chuff about the patients. A qualified nurse gets about ?25k in Cumbria, which is a fucking sight more than the average wage, middle managers in my company have 30 odd staff each and get just about the same and not a penny overtime.
Recall a while back the new breed of nurses complaining they have to clean up patients who are incontinent? If you don't want to get your hands dirty go and be a typist.
