Yes he seemed like a nice bloke, so did his Brother, cant understand what all the fuss was about, and Jack(the hat) M'cvitie made fantastic buscuits.

It amazes me those who hero worship the "twins", when they ponsed off there own, "protecting" shopkeepers who got a fraction of a pence off a newspaper etc, I'm sure mike freeman will vouvh for what lahvlay boys they were as he knew them so he says
"This one's for my man "T"...
& it's called Wish you were here"

Jack the hat was killed by Ronnie because he started to talk about the "fat poof" convincing others in the London Underworld that he intended to take Ronnie out. Ronnie terminated Jack with extreme prejudice by sticking a bayonet down his throat. Jack tried to jump out of the window but he was stopped and Ronnie rammed the bayonet right down Jack's throat.
"The claret came out like a fountain "said Tony Lambrianou "and splattered the Krays and their flat. "
Reggie summoned me over to the El Morrocco during the early Sixties. I went and faced up to him:
Reggie walked with grace of a boxer. "Allright Mickey sit down there with the chaps" he said gesturing to the several members of the Kray gang who sat on a long bench with their drinks on a table in front of them.
Reggie nodded towards a youth paying the piano. "That's Ronnie's boyfriend. Don't mention poofs at all....
Ronnie did not like people who felt he was a pervert. He preferred the company of famous people from the films, theatre and show business as well as various Lords and ladies, none of whom ever felt that these fearsome twins would ever harm them and they never did. One actor always studied their persona's was Stanley Baker the celluloid gangster.
Jack would have killed Ronnie at some time or other and he also carried an arsenal of guns, including handguns and shotguns in his car.

A slight confusion there.
Actually, it was Reg who knifed Jack "The Hat" to death, having first tried to shoot him, but the gun failed to fire.
